The Wilburn Mill is so old we don't know when it was built, this mill made wheat for the civil war soldiers and can be seen today! The big red store is where cotton was weighed and put on a caravan to be transported by the river in Clifton TN. Today the big red store is a museum and a must see attraction! Kid Friendly Farms
These farms listed below have areas for kids activities and are a great place to visit when you're in Lawrence county seeing the Amish! The Amish are not always open to letting english kids play with their farm so these farms make a great place to do hands on activity and play along the way. Please include them in your plans!

The Farm Community
The Farm Community has classes in permaculture and advanced farming techniques available for visitors. They have many classes for kids and hobby farmers as well. These classes and Farm Visitation weekends are only available during certain times so make sure you find out what you'd like to learn and book your spot!

MNM Farm Winery and Vineyard
MNM is a pick you own fruit farm where you get a bucket and go hunting. Many people have never picked their own fruits before so it's fun to learn from the friendly owners how to recognize and harvest ripe fruits. Holiday Acres Farm
Most farms are for adults with a few kids activities but Holiday Acres Farm is more like a kids farm with adult responsibilities. They have a large petting zoo and feeding area so kids can see the animals up close! They also have areas reserved for parties so that kids can play in a large area that is built and devoted to kids play! Crossroads of Dixie Antique Tractor and Engine Show
The best farm related event we have in Lawrence county is The Crossroads of Dixie Antique Tractor and Engine Show. There are many things to do and see at this event that you don't see much like the women's skillet throw and the slow race. Kids also have special events and learning opportunities!

Bulls and Barrels Rodeo
If you think this event is a bunch of bull then you'd be right! The bulls and barrels rodeo is hours of bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, and bucking broncos. This event is a fund raiser for the Abigail's Plan Miracle League and is put on by Premier Bulls so you know you're looking at professionals here. Come out and see the old west in Lawrenceburg TN!

Middle TN District Fair
The fair in Lawrenceburg is huge and goes for a whole week long. We have a great balance between the country fair of old and the modern fair of today with all the rides. The Lawrence county fair has many exhibition areas with plants and vegetables to see along with a livestock area who puts on demonstrations each day. Don't miss it!

The David Crockett Museum
Inside David Crockett State Park is the David Crockett Museum. You'll see many examples of early farm equipment and textiles. There is a lot to see here so put in your plans to see while it's open from March-September each year!

The Old Jail Museum
The Old Jail Museum is full of things so plan for a long stay here. There are rooms devoted to antique farming equipment and early settlers way of life as well as Native American history in the area. Th Old Jail Museum is a must see!
